The irony is really incredible. A sex/swinger/dating site notorious for it’s almost pornographic practices, ranking at number 69 on the Alexa list of the most popular sites on the internet. I love it.

For Those of You Unfamiliar with AdultFriendFinder
AdultFriendFinder is a dating site. Well, kind of. They’re more of a “hey you! Come have sex with me!” site(they call it Sex/Swingers/Personals). They’re the predominant advertiser on pretty much every adult site in existance. You know those ads that have the pictures of the partially nude folks that are miraculously in the same city as you? Yeah, that’s them. Which is why this is ironic.
Why They’re Promoted So Much
Their affiliate program is pretty ridiculously generous, and actually almost all of their traffic is generated by affiliates.
The 3 options are
1) Shared Revenue - You get 35%-75% of the initial order. That maxes out at about $112.46 for a full year initial signup. After that, you 35%-55% of any recurring order. So if they stay signed up, you get more cash. And I’m pretty sure they keep auto-charging the credit card until the person explicitly quits. So forgotten accounts..yeah, you get the idea.
2) Pay Per Click - Depending on how high quality/volume your traffic is, you get up to $1 per click. Not a bad deal, but avoid this one if you can’t hit the needed volume or quality.
3) Per Order Payout - No matter what volume you get, or high quality the traffic is, you get $85 per sale. No recurring, but this is the best option for lower traffic, or lower quality traffic sites.
Haha but if I were them, I would stop accepting people. That traffic ranking is just too hilarious to kill.
