Obama was a story, and separated (publically) from the mudslinging that was accepted. This looked *new*, so the media latched onto it. Rewind to the first time McCain ran, and he too was a story. @Dan: Yup, already happening. @Shark: I know of a few firms that handle a lot of it, but never the negative stuff.
